In keeping with our monthly meetings, “Blings ‘n’ Things” will be themed for each month for a specific topic, but members are encouraged to bring in anything they would like to show or share. Below is the list of themes for 2025:
- February – “Bring somthin'” – Simply bring something you want to share
- March – “DX Dreams: Chasing the Far and Exotic” – Share techniques, tools, and tales of long-distance QSOs.
- April – “The Great Balun Debate: Taming the Match” – Bring and discuss various baluns and their use in different antenna setups.
- May – “Ham Universe: Satellites Made Simple” – Demonstrate how to work amateur satellites and track their orbits.

- July – Postcards from the Ether: The Art of QSL Cards” – Members bring in their favorite, rarest, or most creative QSL cards, sharing stories behind the contacts and designs.
- August – “Ham Hobbies: When Radio Meets Real Life” – Combine ham radio with other hobbies like photography, hiking, or woodworking.
- September – “Emergency Essentials: Ready, Set, Go!” –
Show off go-kits and emergency communication setups. - October – “DIY Dummies: Antennas on a Budget” – Showcase budget-friendly and creative homemade antennas.
- November – “Power Play: Batteries and Beyond” – Discuss portable power sources, battery types, and solar solutions
